      Deal Jacket Navigation

      Every transaction inside TDC has its own Digital Deal Jacket. This is the central hub where all deal documents live—making it simple for dealership staff to view, manage, and share paperwork without digging through folders.

      Inside the Deal Jacket, you can:

      • View documents in the built-in document viewer.

      • Download or Print individual or multiple documents.

      • Upload/Scan additional files directly into the jacket.

      • Control access (dealership only vs. dealership + customer).

      • Check pending signatures before a deal moves forward.

      • (Optional) Push documents to your DMS.

      Understanding the Two Tabs: Completed vs. Pending

      • Completed Tab:
        Displays all executed documents. Once signed, they automatically appear here.

      • Pending Tab:
        Shows documents that are still waiting on signatures. This helps staff quickly identify which items need customer or dealership action before the deal can be finalized.

      Viewing Documents

      1. To View: Click on the title of any document to open it in the document viewer.

      Printing or Downloading Documents

      1. Select one, multiple, or all documents.
      2. The "Action" bar will appear at the top of the screen.
      3. Choose the desired action (e.g., Print or Download) and proceed.

      Adding Documents to the Deal Jacket

      • Users can add new documents by:
        1. Scanning Documents directly into the Deal Jacket.
        2. Uploading Files from their computer.

      1. Click the Upload Document button at the top-right.

      2. Drag and drop files into the upload window.

      3. Assign a title to the document.

      4. Choose the access setting:

        • Dealership Only – Internal use only.

        • Dealership/Customer – Instantly shared with the customer in their Glove Box.

      Access Settings for Documents

      • By default, system-generated docs have preset sharing rules (some are shared with customers, others are not).

      • To update access at any time:

        1. In the Access column, click Switch.

        2. Select the new access setting (Dealership Only or Dealership/Customer).
