# How To Edit The Credit Application?

## Errors in filling out applications can occur. However, it’s crucial to have customers correct any discrepancies in income or monthly housing expenses inside the Buyer Portal

Encouraging buyers to log into the Buyer Portal to correct their credit applications helps protect the dealership from liability and shifts responsibility to the consumer instead of dealership staff.

### Instructions

1. Have buyers Log Into "Existing Transaction"
2. Have buyers click on "Edit" button inside the Credit Application card
3. Make edits to the application
4. Submit the Credit Application with edits.
