      How to Remove a Co-Buyer?

      Learn how to remove a co-buyer while keeping their data secure.

      TDC gives dealerships the flexibility to remove a co-buyer from a transaction if needed. The co-buyer will be unlinked from the transaction, but their data will remain securely stored in the system.

      Removing a Co-Buyer

      1. Navigate to the Dealer Dashboard.

      2. Open the transaction file where the co-buyer is listed.

      3. In the Co-Buyer section, click Remove.

      What Happens Next

      • The co-buyer is immediately dissociated from the transaction file.

      • Their information is not deleted. Instead, it is retained under the Customer tab in the top-right of the Dashboard.

      • This ensures the dealership keeps a full customer history while adjusting the active transaction.

      Removing a co-buyer is simple and does not erase their data, keeping compliance and customer records intact.
